RDMC fields of action

The six fields of action of the RDMC briefly and concisely summarise what the RDMC at HHU does.

inform

We inform all HHU members about available RDM offers and the latest developments in the area of RDM via our website, the newsletter and information events on campus or in hybrid/virtual form in order to raise awareness of the issues surrounding open access to research data.

advise

We provide HHU members with competent, solution-focused and prompt advice on all areas of research data management in personal, hybrid or virtual dialogue and tap into our network to help find suitable solutions for RDM needs.

train

We offer (in-person, hybrid or virtual) workshops on current RDM topics and tools as well as electronic self-study materials, provide information on further training offers and strive to achieve greater integration of RDM content into the teaching curriculum.

act

We operate the IT infrastructure in cooperation with the central IT units and provide tools/software (licenses) for research data management.

develop

We develop the future strategy for RDM at HHU on an ongoing and science-focused basis, taking account of advances at national and international level, and systematically evaluate our offers, taking account of feedback from researchers.

network

We network researchers at HHU with each other and external institutions such as German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) organisations and promote collaboration with RDM infrastructure representatives at HHU.
